I believe it is possible that Scott has several developments and accomplishments completed and in his back pocket as he accumulates others for the ultimate launch. I think he perhaps perceives accomplishing one deliverable and initiating a launch, and then thinks, it would be better if I can go get this next thing done as well. This might well explain some of the miscommunication we may have experienced in the past. In combination with probable NDAs, his advisors and Dahlman Rose’s advice, a CTO that is still in place, and the potential short position, this makes sense. But the time is quickly coming where his basket of goodies is full and he says lets get on with it.
It is like a man that buys a nice property and thinks he will have an open house and show off his estate. He has some nice acreage near a nice lake with very few neighbors. Then he says, let me spruce a few things up in the house first. He gets that done and says, you know, I should really put a deck on as well, and so he does that. Then he decides to spruce up the guest house. When that is done, he decides to landscape. As this is being done, he gets engaged, and decides to combine the open house with the wedding reception. The invitations are getting ready to go out.
Extending the metaphor, he has one next door neighbor that have a rundown place, with some redneck backwoods sort of people. Their house is an eyesore, and they’ve thrown their garbage on our man’s property, and on occasion, they have shot their paintball markers at the house, cars, and the cars of others that have visited. It has been a back burner issue, but they have been working with the authorities and have learned that there are some illegalities which are leading to the neighbors being evicted soon. So it is all looking real good. This is an obvious nuisance, but of no lasting impact. The open house reception will be a huge affair that will be sure to make all of the guests happy.
If you got all of the symbolism for Sarissa’s development, spinouts, deals, uplisting, and temporary shorting, good for you. It is going to be one heckuva party! Chin up!
