Rocky won't be at the board until 12:00 if you read his post. If you look at the news releases by other companies that have moved to the amex, they all say the same thing about maintaining the listing criteria. It is important but it is something required of every company that applies to be listed. I do not know specifically but it is probably in the event of major changes to the company structure or financials.
Any reason why the "stay listed" criteria would not be the same as the "get listed" criteria? That topic, the "get listed" criteria has been beaten to death here, and they are posted on the amex site . . .
The first thing I thought of when reading that was that no material adverse things take place in that time frame. It may have something to do with SP also as the AMEX requested the 15-1 reverse. IMO, if we see no big drop in SP or material events that would change GTEL's status, we should be OK...rock
