As soon as I made that post saying IE appears to be better I tried running pitstop. It wouldn't install the Active X add on that is needed no matter which troubleshooting ideas I tried. Soooooo it seems to be same old IE....there is always something that won't work right@!!@!
I take back what I said about IE9 being a pretty good update. It has a new look that mimics Chrome. After the update I have 2 IE9's. I have the one that came with the computer and a new one called IE9 64 bit. The 64 bit version is whacked. It says I have no Active X, which I do have. One of the IE9's will run pitstop, the 64 bit version will not.
I guess it's just another typical Microsoft upgrade that is full of bugs.
