You seem to be more knowledgeable than my broker on this subject. First, he told me that Scottrade's transfer agent has a restriction on the acly stock, then he backed up and said it wasn't Scottrade but rather Arcland that has the restriction on the stock. Does this make any sense? He then offered, for 95 dollars, to send the stocks to me so I can then trade them with a different brokerage firm.

I also asked if it would work to get a certificate from a transfer agent which I could then send on to Scottrade to make my shares tradeable and I was told that wouldn't work.
