Someone the other day had a stop loss about 1/2 below where they bought, then another had one about 1/3 less than that.
Market Makers will EAT ONE's alive and have fun doing it!
They get those with little to know experience watching the tape, drop it a bit, they get scared, sell a small amount on a slow day, it drops again and again, and by the end of the day it's down 20 to 30% with only a few shares different than the buy/sell.
Interesting.... it happens hundreds of times each day.
