I thought the inventory control, locator, portion was Airbee's contribution.

Identity & Airbee

I'm not a technical person but my understanding is that Airbee's software will do two things.
1. Allow the battery in the existing Identity anti-theft device to last for many years without having to be changed.
2. Permit the Identity device to broadcast its "signal" for a greater distance-that is into the dealer's office from the lot so that the dealer can make sure all the cars are where they are supposed to be.If a car has been moved, say after a test drive, they will be able to find it.

This creates a natural fit between the two companies.

If there are any engineers here, please verify the accuracy of these statements. I'm only a broken-down old accountant.

here's an off the wall possibility to your off the wall thought!

<<And here's an off the wall thought. ALL cars everywhere have this Identity module on board. Each car on the road can communicate with every other car on the road (when within the hailing distance) and form a communication system (just like a telephone cell phone network but without the phone company involved) just for cars. Why? Communication - someone will figure out a reason! lol

would it be possible for the airbee stacked software on the identity module be able to alert the occupant of a car that they are too close to the car ahead, say by sounding an alarm and/or dashboard light start flashing?
