Indeed it would be possible, IMO.

In fact Toyota , I have read, has recently introduced on some models, the option of a system which senses adjacent cars and applies the brakes AUTOMATICALLY when it senses a dangerous condition. I think that is a distance measuring thing and rate of change measurement likely using a laser system (I'm guessing), but I see no reason that Airbee/Identity could not incorporate that sort of thing too - somehow. They have the connection, all that remains is to use it to assess danger and do something about it...flash a light...honk a horn - yours or the other guys, or both....apply the brakes....like that. With GPS these days they can pinpoint the position of things so closely that tying that into Identity could provide the distance between two cars and their rate of approach to one another and with Airbee/Identity connecting the two the communication and avoidance is established. Not only is theft avoided, crashes are avoided, too.

Let's not get too exotic -

Then everytime there is an accident, sue Airbee. I think not. But for statis autos, like locations in a parking lot, why not if the equipage rate becomes universal.
