The one thing to remember in all of this is that it wasn't the attorneys that were the problem, it was the justice system. The system allows the defendants to appeal time after time and use various delaying tactics. The one judge already imposed an 11.25% interest penalty on the defendants, and it still had vitually no effect on the defendants willingness to settle up.
I don't claim to know where this is going, but changing attorneys still doesn't look good to me. AT&T has all the money they need to string this thing out for as long as they want and never pay up.
