Seriously. I believe Merritt will make the first call, and open the door, regardless of whether it's recommended by others at KOP or F&J.

He is undoubtedly willing to meet anywhere, any time. But if they're not so inclined, he could suggest that he contact the ICC in Paris, and ask them to accelerate their ruling.

As you may know, this was recently done with another arb. case. The ICC complied and, although the decision blew up in the requestor's face, acceleration didn't change the ruling.

What am I saying? Being more than a little presumptuous, I know. I'm sure he has his position firmly in mind. But taking the first step is important, IMO.

IQ (I still don't know what that means...but I know it's complex) I think you nailed it. I'm guessing IDCC gave HG all the rope he needed. HG said he could get a specific deal done and didn't. So, HC [the hated evil one...right mikey?] stepped in...less than 20 business days before the ICC renders a decision...and pulled HG. Now we have Mr. Bill, a person I have met and want all to know is extremely sharp, running our future. There are less than 15 business days to cook off a settlement, Mr. Bill has come off the bench and is controlling the ball.

I'm okay with that.
