It was a dark day indeed for minority investors when the Chinese bought out Addax. In the thinking of the Chinese, with any partnership they are involved with, if the partners win it means to them that the Chinese lose. They are poison to do business with. They are intent on screwing any of the other small players in the JDZ and will go to almost any lengths to do so.

Netphe needs to do something as opposed to allowing the Chinese to play by their rules. Change the game. For the last 2 years he has succeeded in doing nothing and Offor and the JDA is no doubt being well compensated by the Chinese to sit passively and do nothing.

amj23, what I find interesting is that Hess is drilling 16,400 ft deep in 6000 ft of water. Our wells were about 12,000 ft deep in 5000+ ft of water. Why are our wells so shallow by comparison? where we are located on the delta floor looks to me like the formations would be deeper than closer to land. Am I missreading the charts?

AMJ23, that's exactly my feelings and the message I've tried to convey over the years and why I gave up on this company awhile ago, after being incredibly high on it's potential. The greed and corruption and now, the focus of where the ultimate controlling power exsists, make this a 'lost' potential investment, in my lifetime, imo.

Most all here had opportunities to make money on this company, but our due diligence hope (and greed) precluded that for many, but most regretably the biggest losers continue to be the poor folks in this wretched country.
