That's pretty good. what that means is that scanners/hackers out their won't pick on your machine because they can't find you and more importantly, can't find out any info about your machine since your machine plays dead and does not respond to their inqueries (this is starting to sound like the Matrix :))

However, there's a difference between them looking for you and you showing yourself. when you come to InvestorsHub.com, you make yourself known. That's how Matt knows your Internet IP. All computers connected to the internet must have an IP. When two computers communicate, they do so thru those IPs.
IHubs IP is 209.12.237.90 (if you were to use that instead of wwww.investorshub.com, you could still get to this site).
When you want to connect to ihub, what happens is your machine makes a request to connect to Ihub's web server (209.12.237.90 and a Port). By doing so, you identify yourself to that machine. if it likes you, it accepts your request and let's you connect...
