re: no "discontinuity" technically -- imo, there is. consider this analogy:
you are better on horse racing. one horse, Acumed, once had some promise, but then folks learned Acumed had some injuries. Acumed was quietly led offstage and replaced by Opi, a completely different horse that would continue running in Acumed place.
question: in this context, would you make projections and place bets on Opi's future success, based on Acumed's track record?
imo, the only way two-years charts can apply is if you assume that everyone trading hasn't heard about the reverse merger. and that seems a risky assumption.
as before, i wouldn't be surprised to see OPHI reach $5 on fundamentals (tangible earnings) at some point. but i wouldn't bet based on 2-year charts.
the breakout from the sideways wedge seems a much more pertinent and compelling discussion topic.
