I always thought the first production numbers were from the findings in the overburden.

I was not worried. I expect they will get into the good stuff soon enough especially if they have it in huge piles just waiting to be processed.

True, the initial production report was low and there are good reasons why.

A late start to the dry season due to the el nino winter, malaria, and 35 feet of overburden. Some might call that excuses. I call that reasons. There is a difference.

Think about it.

Removing 35 feet of overburden is the rough equivalent of removing a three and a half story building from the center channel of a swift moving river.

It's obviously a point at which sediment collects if it is that deep.

If it's a collection point, guess what also should be there.

I agree Charlie, and very well thought out comments, Sir. The fact that the stockpiles of concentrate are building so quickly does show that the wash plants can not keep up with the amount of concentrate the dredges are producing.

The dredge operators will pick out the nuggets and visible gold and diamonds right on the dredge. The flour gold and fine flakes will most likely provide the majority of gold recovered. Wash plants are very effective and hard to screw up but it is very time consuming.

I figure SGCP is maximizing the season with all the trained employees working the dredges. That's what I would do.

No worries for me, i sold out of sgcp and am just sitting on the sidelines trying to inject truth into the board. Peaceful knowing that i don't need to wonder what excuses will be thrown out there by sgcp.
