I’ve been giving a lot of thought as to WHY the production numbers were so low when most of us were expecting much more. If you don’t want to read my opinion, then don’t. I’ve got to say that all this chest thumping and spreading of peacock feathers by others stating their superior business experiences certainly didn’t help anyone. And for someone to actually tell me that they want to take my Cancun Girls from me…. Well, believe me, they aren’t interested! It was all I could do to hold their interest long enough to take this picture! Ha!

Let me give you MY theory on this using MY production experience. We have basically a two step production process that is unbalanced. (maybe more steps than that, but let’s go with two) Our dredging capacity has been greatly increased from 1 dredge to at least 5, but do we only have 2 or maybe 3 wash plants to wash the concentrate from the dredges and pull the gold and diamonds out? I think it’s obvious that the wash plants can’t keep up with all the concentrate that we are producing, and that’s ok because we can continue to wash during the rainy season.

How far behind ARE the wash plants? 2 weeks? 4 weeks? Maybe more? I’ve been assuming that we were washing concentrate from the ancient gravels that the message board talked so much about. I KNOW we’ve been dredging gravel since February, but maybe the wash plants just haven’t gotten that far yet. And what are these “sophisticated technologies”? from the FR “a large quantity of high-grade concentrate has been recovered and retained for future processing using more sophisticated technologies.” Do these sophisticated technologies take longer? Is this something that will be explained in the “geology section on the web page? Maybe they should include a equipment section for us so we’ll know how much equipment we have and how much of each type.

They won’t know how much gold has been dredged until they wash the concentrate! Are they washing concentrate in a first in - first out process? If so, then the 105 oz is from the sand and overburden, NOT the gravel, and then THAT would make sense for why we had ONLY 105 oz.

If this is true then I wish John (the president) would have explained it this way. He could have saved us all a lot of worry.

Anyway, that is my two cents. Just thought I’d share it with you.
