This has been one of the more frustrating experiences I have been through. Let's hope it is worth it in the end. I don't know how much they are spending on these pr's but they should have waited till the financials were posted before the released them. The whole damn thing seems fishy to me.

Vindicated? For what? Selling hundreds of thousands of shares and yet the share price remains pretty much static?

You won't be vindicated unless the deal falls thru.
I think it is much more likely you will feel disappointed that you sold when the deal is announced and you sold all those shares too soon.

Good luck,

Translation please, General. The Captain Pleads Ignorance.

Old Guy, what do you mean? Are you referring to the age difference of a Lt. and a Gen. OR are you speaking to wisdom that comes with rank? Something else?

Is optimism "allowed" when you're young or less wise or when?

Just really curious. You're post was intriguing.

I assume you flipped out your shares up in the 26-28 range (I can't remember what you said you did, but i think you did say you sold some or all0 -- congrats on the "trade". I still think it's a steal at these levels, but you can't argue with selling at 27 and buying back at 23 -- 15% return in 5 weeks -- you just risked being on the sidelines the day it popped to $1.25 / share, right?

Or, do you not see that as a risk you take when you trade in / out while waiting for clear direction?

Again, just curious, and would like to hear from others.

I am 100% sure this deal will close -- maybe this month -- and 80% sure we'll be north of $1.75 by August (the other 20% of me has a conservative target of $1.50 / share).

Frankly, regarding the "2 weeks" -- who gives a rip at this point? They are moving out together, making sales, acting as one, bringing the company together. When the deal is done, the financials will be an afterthought (or a distant memory).

I'm spending my time thinking about Phase II -- the move to NASD, major institutional ownership, extensive research coverage and $3 - $5 / share (2012).

Of course, there's 2013 and the buy-out at $12 / share. (ONLY if we want it. By then we may be such a powerhouse that we hold out for $26 / share! Look at NTAP -- I think IceWEB / Promark will be more valuable to a company than NTAP (recently listed as a buy-out target in the $40s) in the near future.)

There's my 1-2-3 for IceWEB (or 2011, 2012, 2013)
