PRESCRIPTION FOR HOMICIDE...

A nice, calm and respectable lady went into the pharmacy, walked up to the pharmacist, looked straight into his eyes and said, "I would like to buy some cyanide." The pharmacist asked, "Why in the world do you need cyanide?"

The lady replied, "I need it to poison my husband."

The pharmacist's eyes got big and he exclaimed, "Lord have mercy!

I can't give you cyanide to kill your husband. That's against the law!

I'll lose my license! They'll throw both of us in jail! All kinds of bad things will happen. Absolutely not! You CANNOT have any cyanide!"

The lady reached into her purse and pulled out a picture of her husband in bed with the pharmacist's wife.

The pharmacist looked at the picture and replied, "Well now, that's different. You didn't tell me you had a prescription!

Today's Forecast

Thursday, April 14th - 6:50 am

Cool and wet weather continues today-- and may turn stormy at times this afternoon. Expect almost a "repeat" of yesterday's weather. Daytime highs should top off around 50 degrees. Small hail is likely in some of the storms for the afternoon. Tonight, showers continue at the start of the Timbers home opener. Overnight lows drop to the mid 40s.

More rain is projected to move in tomorrow morning. However, this should be the last push of steady rain before a drying trend begins over the weekend. Showers will end on Saturday. Shower chances decrease dramatically between Sunday and Thursday of next week. We could be headed for a long stretch of dry weather.. as a ridge of high pressure builds over the Pacific Northwest! (finally!)
