I think you're right. In task manager under LAN settings it says 100mbps and wireless is 54mbps. I use Comcast cable and I've always had excellent connection speeds. I can download enough songs to fill a CD in about 10 - 15 minutes. Compared to my old DSL connection where I would set up a list of songs and let it run all night and it still wouldn't be done the next morning!!!! Of course, I was at the end of the line from the hub. IMO DSL service is WAY too expensive for the service you receive. Unless you are within eye sight of where the hub is the service sucks. And the further away you get from it the signal drops off exponentially.

Correct, 802.11g is 54 Mbps max. 802.11n is 100+Mbps, but not yet standardized...
