Reporters have a plethora of events to chose from to cover. An admin hearing on a tiny Nevada company not filing SEC reports wouldn't make a blip on their radar screens. If this was a local or California company, they might do a very small article.
Diehards can try to retool this hearing into one on naked shorting or their new favorite term counterfeiting shares. Once a financial reporter takes a look, he's going to see pretty quickly a bunch of fanatics with no proof and little to no knowledge on the markets waving around the most crappy gutter stocks as poster boy examples.
