I think there might have been two reasons that contributed to what happened. One is that although she was one of the most talented of the group, she didn't have much personality. She is sweet but kind of shy - no perkiness like with Lauren or Halley. Even though it is a contest for singing, that factor will subconsciously affect the viewers. The other issue is that she is from NY. No NY'er has really been successful with that show. Supposedly North Easterners do not vote as much as the rest of the country. I myself, who have been watching this show forever, have never placed a vote - I am guilty.

I'm not even sure that would really help..Tho..I do think that if it was nothing but real judges for the top 12...that would even it out a little bit.
