i am sure DEan has been praying for a development like this

he can now blame the FDa for screwing the little guy and allowing some other competitor to beat him to the punch

"smarter looking design", for the slow speed, it should look smart. As far as the batteries go, you could do the same for the DViS if you added on to the bulk and cost of the device (maintenance too). I would rather have a toilet bowl that gave real time images than a 50 second delay. Thats not real time, no comparison.
