You and I see thing generally the same way. What we both understand is that no system of trading is 100%. But what I like about charts is that it gives me a tool to hopefully make the playing field more fair for this little trader.
Like you pointed out several times in you reply, TA is not an exact science and can show us bottoms (or tops for that matter) that are very near. Knowing this small bit of information can really be advantageous to the trader that is willing to embrace and not dismiss the information to make money.
For me, it really doesn't matter any more who accepts my view. I've made money using it and I'm just trying to share my thoughts on a public platform. In it's purist form, a message board gives us that ability. It just unfortunate that some would rather use this forum for a piss'n contest.
