While Michael Bromwich bemoans a lack of the staff necessary to speed up the process, he's sending his staffers to Papua New Guinea to advise its officials on ways to develop the country's offshore drilling infrastructure.



perfect in so many ways [being facetious]. it's not like there aren't companies which have employees which get paid to do this and it's not like our tax-dollar funded regulators will be able to enforce Papua NG's regulations (as if any such thing really exists).

this is the sort of thing, if true, that Fred Upton should be dragging bureaucrats in for investigation.
