50mil--Your rebuttal is fair and insightful. Certainly Longhorn will enhance significantly Lagrande. The unknown question though is whether there has been a small army of developers creating trusted applications in such areas as impending State and Federal Compliance deadlines( ie safeguarding sensitive consumer and business data) specifically for Lagrande(minus Longhorn). If so, I maintain that Lagrande could launch Trusted Computing(and Trusted Web Services) in very significant numbers in 2005. Of course, if, at this point in time, there exists only a few scattered developers creating trusted applications then the slog will likely continue until Longhorn is launched to the masses. I'm hoping that WAVE doesn't have to wait for Longhorn.

Anyway, Lagrande combined with Embassy Firmware and TPM 1.2 is VASTLY SUPERIOR to a stand-alone TPM 1.1 or TPM 1.2. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a revenue robust 2005.
