I disagree completely. Not saying that she can not do a good job, and by all means maybe she will be excellent at her job. What I disagree with is your assertion that her being hired is anything more than Dad hiring his little girl to a necessary position that was unfilled in his company... "Enormously Huge" it is not. To me that would have been posting the job and hiring someone with experience and a resume. Hiring your daughter to handle investor relations is NOT enormously huge. What are her qualifications again? Oh that's right, the boss' daughter. Don't get me wrong, if I was Bob I'd have done the same thing. That she is very likely a stock holder in the company is an ancillary benefit and not some prime motivator that somehow makes her super qualified. Maybe we'll get lucky and our "Director of IR" will do the smart thing and outsource/ contract with someone with the phrases "BA in English" and "Esquire" on their resume.
