#10651 RE: multivalue #10639

For What It's Worth, Matt's explanation on that point was that he was talking about the company having no net profit. I'm not sure about the numbers, but haven't gross losses actually been increasing? I mean, the revenues have been increasing too, but that was HIS point. That even though they are bringing money, there has been no "profit". Again, I say, I am paraphrasing his explanation to me, so don't jump on me. You might want to try emailing him, nicely.

I'm not sure how relevant or valid this story is, but in the interests of sharing . . . and most stories I do find, you guys have already posted :-)

Airship to Orbit - Saturday

JP Aerospace, an amateur balloon/rocket-launching operation with some big ideas, has just announced their Away 26 mission will be lifting off this weekend, heading for 100,000 ft altitude. Videos from previous missions and construction operations are available from their website - the video from Away 17, showing the drop from "the edge of space" is fascinating.

It's not entirely clear from the website, but they don't appear to be launching the real "Airship" that might get to orbit this time around - it'll be just a platform with some electronic equipment and controls for testing. Would these guys actually do this interesting stuff if they were getting paid for it?
