I found it amusing that the Bloomberg piece I posted used the characterization, “completely new” in the first paragraph and later in the piece noted that the well was in fact started in 2010. The proficiency of the business press when writing about the hydrocarbon industry may be as bad as when writing about the biotech industry (and that’s pretty bad).
