i believe you miss-read his statement.........imo he was talking about Management in general (not GRDO) that are associated with mergers...

ALL opinions are allowed--one constant in Business is Change which is a constant and necessary for growth--groups of managements RARELY stay in tact for extended lengths anywhere especially in smaller companies and where mergers/acquisitions are involved---some stay and some go--cant have 2 --one of the purposes of merging is to bolt revenue together while stripping out cost to increase profitability
