It is this part that is re-surfacing again that has me speculating on what has transpired as material event(s) and to which shareholders have not been witness:

...and subsequent clinical trials conducted by NIPRD in Nigeria to be highly efficacious in reducing crisis among sickle cell sufferers.

wEaReLeGiOn referred to this in a previous post and it certainly seems that there was further (clinical?) trial activity that was not shared or made public imo.
