I have a very low tolerance for BS. The biggest danger of boards like these is group-think, when we all pat each other on the back and congratulate ourselves on what savvy investors we are while ignoring the negatives of a situation that might sink us. That is why I encourage well-reasoned dissent.
When almost everyone (including myself) thought we'd have a positive EPS for Q2, DVM had the analysis that indicated otherwise ... and guess who was right. PTQ is not God's gift to gold mining, but it has a lot of potential and I'd like to hope I see it for what it is rather than what I want it to be. It's the only stock in my portfolio for a reason.
It can't all be sunshine and roses. If it's positive or negative, I want to hear it, so long as it's based on sound reasoning. It helps us all as investors. If it's speculation, it deserves a disclaimer.
