They will, but unwinding the shorts' positions could take several years, the way they can delay and pull all kinds of under the table stuff that only "they" know about. ;)
dmailler... I was being a bit sarcastic. If the new rules are going to give an upward bias on share prices, it's not going to happen the first day. For all we know, this pressure today might be a last-gasp effort on the part of the shorts. Too early to tell. IMO
