The judge basically granted JBI's motion to dismiss for failure to state a claim, but gave Kidd 20 days to amend his complaint to state an actual claim. I am assuming that along with the substitution of counsel will be a motion for extension of time within which to file an amended complaint. From the looks of his website, the new lawyer has a little more substance than Lanigan.
Interesting that Kidd can't seem to develop a successful business - all his money seems to come from not paying creditors (claims now up to about $1.3 million in the bankruptcy) or filing bogus lawsuits.
