HrH: One person joked that he voted only 5 times as that was the number of years he lived in Chicago.
There were several posts on agora directing people to this link: http://clearimpressions.co.uk/cgi-bin/ifvote.cgi? along with a mention that one vote per e-mail address was allowed. It was not necessary to be a subscriber, just to have a valid EM addy. I believe the link was also posted by parker on his edigerati site.
Knowing how many aliases some of those guys have (especially DABOSS), one person voting multiple times with mutliple e-mail addresses is no problem. I would guess that a lot of votes came in from hotmail and yahoo addies.
The agora group later tried to deny it, (even though it had been openly suggested on the board multiple times). However, then someone came back back from vacation and didn't get the e-mail to deny the vote spamming. Doucmented here:
