No production should be lost as factories and production facilities remain on schedule albeit with smaller crews.
Our guys are camped in the jungle with no where else to go.

Carnival is a celebration of life pseudo 'religious festival', and is always held during the week before the start of Lent on the Catholic Ash Wednesday. After which it is time to fast and pray until Easter. It is Mardi Gras in New Orleans, La. Every Catholic country does it a little differently. In Brazil it is a week of total debauchery in the large cities. (Sorry Brazilians, but I have been there.) In New Orleans it is a week of parades, parties, formal balls, and tourists with lots of money.

In Panama, as I explained in that other post, it is a time for family reunions in the country side for middle and upper classes. Basically all important government offices,(oxymoron), shut down and all public and private employees that can possible get away do so. It generally manages to gum up the works for a couple of weeks.

Four days to prepare, five days to celebrate, four days to come back and recover. The higher on the economic scale the longer they take. Sort of RHIP as they say in the service.

You hope you do not have a water leak in your home, or your car doesn't breakdown because it is very hard to get anyone to be serious about your predicament. Sort of like trying to hold an important business conference in France in August. The French have a saying, 'let the good times roll'. I don't speak French, but I'm sure our Canadians can tell us. "Les buen tems roller" or something like that.

That is why I think we will get no news unless it is in the next couple of days. Everyone is clearing the decks and rolling out the kegs.
