used to be ok 20 years ago...

but it IS Spain. Might still be possible.

You could always stand outside by the grille that takes up the "end" of the building: actually two streets converge at a sharp angle and the "grille end" is maybe 12 feet across with about a dozen rotating spits above the bank of coals.
Cook and "keep warm" levels... LOL... I'm sure "pitmaster" is an acquired skill!

Gives the place the best kind of advertising... continuous "olfactory" teasing! Walking up the right side of La Rambla de Sant Josep from the harbor during hours of business, you simply cannot IGNORE Los Caracoles! However, I suspect it is a lot pricier than when I was last there!
