I have no clue. They haven't peeped a bit.

I don't think anyone has a clue beyond wild speculation.

So I treat them as a non-issue. They either have given up on their shares, or they are just letting the process go through.

There has been plenty of opportunity for them to stand up -- clearly the most obvious would have been an easy seat on the EC... but they declined and disappeared.

I treat them as disappeared, and don't speculate much into why. Because, any of the speculation I've seen involves such quantum physics that I don't understand.
