Zen, that looks inaccurate...remember the sale:

"[LBSR] has sold 60.7 square kilometers (23.4 square miles out of the Company’s original 177 square miles, or 13% of its Big Chunk and Bonanza Hills acreage)"

What you've delineated looks like more than 23.4 miles...and remember, some BH acreage was also sold.

SGR/Amigo/KY, what do you all think?

The area that you have outlined and marked "sold area" roughly correlates with the area labeled Purchased Lands on ND's CPQ map and so yes- you have pretty closely approximated the sold parcel. As to where that information came from, I refer you to a post found in Moodoggy's stickied DD compilation-investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=56787126
labeled NAK/LBSR Drilling 2010. In it is a series of emails to the State of Alaska DNR and ND's actual CPQ which was submitted by them to get approval for their 5 shallow holes drilled on those purchased lands. That is where the township map came from and all the coordinates. This document is what is submitted in lieu of a permit when drill holes are less than 300 feet as these were. But it is still comprehensive in defining the status and location of the area involved.
