LL, I think that is a reasonable response. Not as good as we would like and not as dismal as some dread. The key may be whether or not DW comes to the rescue and that will depend on what they think our future is at the moment. I have been told by RP, so I assume it is public knowledge, that DW is very interested in being included in our IFE plans as well as wanting distribution rights to O-1000 in North America as well. That may provide some incentive for them to bail us out.
Yes, the updated 1000 is a good sign they had some knowledge but there have been several "anecdotal" references saying the cover shot and exclusivity of mp3 player may not have been totally expected. Besides, the decision to drop the big retail push had already been made.
We shall see.
