Furthermore, not only is Boeing expressing interest, but they are considering assisting in the development & commercialization, as well. Sure, anyone can apply for the grant, but not just anyone has the support of Boeing. I wonder how many OTC companies have peaked Boeing's interest to that extent. I would venture to guess, not many to none.
As for Phase 111, It makes relevant sense that this is where Boeing would step in to assist. Perhaps, NASA has the resources needed in the initial grant phase and Boeing takes the reins at an agreed point. Hence, commercialization.
It is my understanding that 3Dicon just met with Boeing at a SBIR conference in November. If the grant proposal is only accepted July through September, then I would deduct that we have not been rejected and should be on the awards list in December. The PR stated, "For our grant proposals..." It did not say they had submitted. IMO, the main point of the PR is that BOEING is interested in us! That is huge- and deserved a press release! So, maybe we get a nice Christmas present or who knows, maybe they have a fast track program. They are making significant strides and on the right path to commercialization. When/if we get a PR that states that a grant has been awarded and Boeing is backing us, there will be a huge influx of big-time investors. Until then, I suspect the pps will continue to build on progressive news & anticipation. Hopefully, they have marketing campaign lined up! It’s only a matter of time before we are noticed.
The fact remains, 3Dicon owns the patent to Cspace and that it has endless possibilities in many different multi-billion dollar markets. That's all that really matters. Who cares if NASA and Boeing get royalty free rights? I'm just glad they are interested in 3DIcon and I am an investor at bargain basement prices. :-)
