You know what they say: Buy on the rumor, sell on the news.

And that's not a bad rule of thumb. But you say that EIGH had "good news". Certainly the news was intended to be good. But to many observers, it was merely incomprehensible and therefore suspicious. Most EIGH PRs didn't make a whole lotta sense.
