And here it is. Related to the ex CEO? Seems to me, they were keeping it in the family. Check out the credentials in bold. Wonder now why they went with this firm? I think not. Why did they move on? Matthew is probably with another firm now. Great to see that we have such a talented and respected board member on EMXC. Thanks for bringing this to our attention here.

Matthew G. Weber, CPA, CFF
Partner

Matt focuses on all aspects of business appraisals and forensic accounting. He is a partner in the firm’s New York City office and has more than twenty years experience supporting attorneys during litigation and other disputes. His specialties include matrimonial and commercial litigation, business appraisals, and fraud investigation.

Joining Citrin Cooperman in 2004, Matt is an expert in business and enhanced earnings valuations, income computations for support and maintenance and asset tracing. He is also qualified as an expert witness before the Supreme Court of the State of New York. A graduate of Queens College, Matt is a member of the American Society of Appraisers, the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

In his spare time, Matt coaches his sons' baseball teams and serves as a board member for the Oceanside American Little League in Oceanside, NY.

Not until we have a count on actual shareholders voting in a poll of 13.
When you have a relation that works for a CPA firm and is a Partner in that firm, you have a tendency to use them. As is what EMXC did with Matthew and being a Partner in the CPA firm at the time. My guess and opinion is that he moved on and that is why EMXC did as well. Someone ask Roxanna and verify that.
