BtW, I just got off the phone with a fellow poster on this board and we were discussing Sandy Bridge, he brought up good point that I'd like to share. While Intel is showcasing Sandy bridge as a content delivery mechanism, what it really is is a way to offload encryption to H/W.
So you have an end to end encrypted tunnel for secure data transfer that isn't taking general CPU cycles or using conventional memory.
The primary consumer use is certainly entertainment, but there are numerous other commercial and governmental uses for this technology.
