It is because Obama want's to take credit for Internet security. The Washington times, doesn't know about the Trusted Computing initative or the function of the trusted platform module (most reporters are to lazy to dig). Same goes for CNBC and the interview with Steven SEE: http://www.cnbc.com/id/15840232?video=1741678595&play=1p at the end of the show Mark Haines made a comment about not trusting internet security run by Government. Until the truth is known that this is not a government takeover we will continue getting these kinds of stories.
