Thank you Wamunut, I think we might get a settlement anytime now before the Jan 20th Omnibus day , IMHO, It wouldn't be our DREAM SETTLEMENT, but will make us happy enough ....Remember that JPM profits for 2010 is out already so the settlement negotiations makes sense....what do you think?????

This would definately seem to be a good thing.

So - I assume the German markets are open on Monday. Would we expect a settlement announcement (if there is one) to come before open on Monday (in Europe) or to wait until before the open in Wall Street Tuesday?

Obviously - this is all just speculation (again), and I ain't buying or selling anything more at least before Tuesday, but I always love reading the speculation.

My hunch is that those purchasers were made by speculators. We've seen this many, many times with WAMU on weekends where settlement talks are speculated on. If a settlement were actually in the works, I think we'd see significantly more volume across all classes, particularly the preferreds, and the Ps didn't even trade 10,000 shares today.
