I assume the PPT presentation will be a lot like the presentation on Wall St last month, but it seems senseless to pay 33K to re-do the same talk without a little added guidance.
than he did last month on Wall Street. How can Dutton list any target price without numbers to support the target price ? Just showing a slide of how many computers will have a TPM in the coming years doesn't cut it (when coming up with a target price).
The question is, if SKS does not give guidence (via numbers) and the 12 month target price is less than $ 5.00 (which is approximately a 500% profit from next week)...will anyone here be upset?
Question: Does coverage (via target price and rating) begin on April 5th or is this just the presentation ? If coverage begins, the target price and rating is already calculated via advance copy/numbers from Wave (to Dutton).
Eamon, if not at the Dutton conference, it will be shortly there after. I think the conference will produce general numbers that will define the number of TPM's that will ship and the % Wave will need to break even. It may take another quarter or two of Dell shipping TPM's for them to get comfortable releasing what has been internally forecast.
Dutton can only report upon what is known. If Dutton hang fire until post 27th April, then whatever WinHEC divulges would enable Dutton to publish information in the public domain. I would have thought that WinHEC holds considerable potential for Wave/its products. One doesn't stump up $33k for analysts coverage on a regular basis and one should look to maximise the opportunity.
