The fact is that they will begin construction before June. Don’t you think the cable they are using was engineered into the project already? If the cable they are using is already engineered into the project, they are committed to buy it. If they are committed to buy the cable isn’t that something both sides would announce? The bottom line is that the ACCC couldn’t have been engineered into the project because it has not even been tested in China. I think is a much bigger stretch of logic to assume that they would have engineered the ACCC into the project if it has not even been tested in China. I agree and I am sure State Grid would agree that ACCC is the best solution. However, if it was not available, for whatever reason, the Chinese had to go with plan B. The bottom line here is that this project is a lost opportunity. To assume otherwise is pure fantasy. Let’s hope management is savvy enough to get the next one.
