If what you say is true, then it is potentially very bad news. If no discussions are taking place, then it could be that Nokia feels that it has won the case. Equally so, that IDCC is not prepared to move. If she said if Nokia comes knocking on the door, would seem to imply that IDCC could have won the case, otherwise why would Nokia come knocking on the door if they felt that they will win the case.

Hell this is confusing. Strange that Janet would say such things, generally i have found her to be 100% professional in my dealings with her.
