I see. Do the shareholders get to vote on that kind of transaction? If so, would that be before or after the detailed information is provided and the transaction is concluded?
I only ask because I'm pretty sure that no one here has ever received notice of or attended an annual shareholder meeting, so I'm wondering if there may not be a tendency to skimp on formalities.
Apologies in advance if I'm mistaken about the meeting. I figured if there was one I'd have heard about it or at least it would have turned up a post in a search for "shareholder meeting"
