Well said - top to bottom.
Our society (in general) would benefit from more civility, more willingness to communicate (even if in disagreement), and some admission that compromise is the only way to get anything done.
I too chose to view this case, and our Judge, as trying to balance the Letter of the Law with the difficulties inherent in this case. Every step of the way since at least the formation of the EC seems to have been ponderous, but well thought out on her part.
If there is justice to be gotten from this case - I suspect we are just as likely to see it in JMW's courtroom as anywhere else in the country.
