Lowtrade, I believe GTEL's "payment processing capabilities" is through the Miami data storage switch.

lowtrade,

Timing wise,1st report of [b/GlobeTel's G cash rev.s didn't show up until after the Jan/Feb tests you talked of.
One could think Gtel's payment processing capabilities with Globe's SMS applications technology, could be the software for (all) transaction processing of G cash. Not just Gtel's interfacing stored value cards with an existing system GlobeTel had prior to the OCT 2004, new concept launch.

Why are you using the phrase "GlobeTels G-Cash revs"...that in itself is where you are mixing things up...Those revs reported are from "GlobeTelecom G-Cash" which includes many other partners and very likely nothing from GTEL unless they contributed in last 30 days.

The biggest problem I see when everyone speaks of the G-Cash program is that they think that applies directly to GTEL which it does not.

Lowtrade, below is the purpose of the GTEL/Globe program once it is running. NOTE: It will be a program for those clients who are GTEL cardholders and who have a Globe Mobile phone...it is NOT set up to include all G-Cash clients as many other competitive cards are in the same program..that's it for me on the subject for now...rock

The purpose of this program is to allow GTEL stored value cardholders to send money directly to family and friends through their Globe Mobile Phone. With this new technology, the SMS/text recipient is then able to withdraw funds from major Filipino retail outlet chains.
