Tr, thanks for the great post. UNBELIEVABLE!!! Am no authority on cell phones, period, do not even own one, but what I 'think' I have just picked up from your post and the links provided thereon, is that 'WiFi' (and/or WiFi chips) stands for a 'new' kind of 'network' that is not (cannot be) restricted to use by one carrier (such as T-Mobile) and that some carriers (including T-Mobile) are 'reluctantly' getting into this 'emerging' technolohy by having companies (like Hop-on) develop (and SELL ??????????) phones using this 'new WiFi chip'. And it is the 'end-user' of this phone carrier service (ie., network) and not the 'initiating' caller that will have to carry the burden of cost (for service). Am I somewhere in the ballpark here????.......

PM is surprised we learned of this new technology so soon....but with search engines being what they are, and umpteen people looking to milk every aspect of Hop-on info the the company isn't releasing to the shareholder -- What'd he expect?

....shows the relative size of the model 1806....

HPON: I am counting on Hop-On verses Wintec Industries’s T-Mobile carrier deal.
Then Hop-on and wifi-cell makes more business sense...
May be that is because T-Mobile is showing interests to change their tech gear
Thanks
